What could be better?  A great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.  With models Loren Chance, who we have photographed on numerous ocassions, and Chloe Night, a wonderful new addition to our site, we produced a number of stories in both photos and video.  The afternoon was filled with these two ladies struggling in scarves, ropes and pantyhose and forcing each other to...well, you'll just have to see it on our web site.  We highly recommend both models.  All in all, it was a fun day!

For those that say bondage should not involve sex...you know...only fully-clothed women tied up and no touching.
First, let me say that many years ago I used to feel that way.  Harmony, before they started doing naked and topless bondage, actually sent a questionaire to their subscribers asking if they wanted nude and topless bondage.  I voted no and I lost...they rightfully did it anyway.  I still love images and drawings of fully clothed women bound and gagged.  My favorites indicated indicate that.

The fact is that bondage, in the fetish sense, is mostly about sex.  And unless one is into S&M, it is not about violence.  And bondage is not S&M.  Whether the beautiful captive is fully-clothed or not, the response of those interested in bondage is generally a sexual one.  Whether you identify with the captor (whether it is a man or woman) having a beautiful woman helpless before them or you identify with the helpless captive wondering what her fate is going to be, if you are interested in bondage, it is usually sexual.  And what we and others provide is fantasy, not real life.

So, is adding actual sex, whether concentual or not, into bondage crossing the line?  I realize that some people think so.  We do not because fetish bondage is sexual to begin with.  We do realize that there are real issues out in society involving forced sex, particular men forcing women.   (We primarily deal with girl-girl situations in our work.)  Again there is a difference between real life and fetish fantasy.  Everyone has fantasies...they are a good thing.  We do not believe that depicting fantasies are responsible for what happens in real life.  Long before there was the internet, TV, movies, books and magazines, bad people were doing bad things to good people in real life.  Unfortunately, that will always be the case.   If you eliminate all forms of fetish bondage from all media, that wouldn't make any difference, despite what some people say and preach.  Bad people would still do bad things to good people.  [And we would all be missing out on a lot of good stuff.!]

When we started Knotty Silk Scarf Productions in 1997, we did videos with amateur models, all of which were fully-clothed.  The first comments we got were...they need to be topless.  That didn't happen until our 7th video.  After several years, we started using professional models.  It was much easier to do topless and nude scenes.  That is what most people want to see.  From time-to-time we do a fully-clothed scene.  But the truth is that professional models cost a significant amount of money and part of what you are paying for with a fetish model is to photograph her topless or nude.  When we started to think about including (what was then fake) sex scenes (about 10 years ago) in some of our videos, there was concern that it was against the law...something like, no sex while gagged or something like that.  But since they were depicting it in the movies (Billy Jack, as an example), why couldn't we do it?  So, we did.  Now a lot of sites do it.  When we include sex scenes, mostly what is done is girl-girl 'controlled climaxes.'  [Are the scenes real now?  Only the models know for sure...they sure look real to me when I am filming them.]

For those that like their bondage pure (no nudity), it is tough to produce bondage videos and pay sites...and still make money just tying up women.  How many sites have just disappeared.    There are so many people that now photograph tied up women and can post pictures (including on DA) that simple bondage alone will not make money.  You need a speciality and at least some nudity.

That is my rant for today...and quoting Dennis Miller...that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

I wish people would understand this! I'm not into the violent stuff at all, but as soon as someone says "bondage," all the Sheeple think you're some horrible sadist. I can't stand the violent stuff, it's not my thing and it makes "us" look bad.
