I love seeing a woman tied up with scarves. I particularly love seeing a woman gagged with a scarf. When I talk about scarves I am referring to silk (or silk-like) scarves. I prefer square scarves over the oblong or long scarves. Although any scarf of any material is generally better than no scarf. My love of scarf bondage isn't because scarves are the most effective bondage material. [Arguments can be made either way on the effectiveness of scarves.] It isn't because they can be colorful, although I do like that. It isn't because it is a softer way to bind a woman. Suggest that to a woman who has a scarf tightly tied in her mouth and she would disagree. Others may suggest these as the reason for scarf bondage, but these are not the primary reasons I love scarf bondage.
Scarves are (primarily) a woman's fashion accessory and the only one that is ideally suited for bondage. It can be used for tying or gagging. It is readily available draped over or tied on the woman's neck. over her head, used as a belt or tied (or carried) in her purse. She is actually wearing something that can immediately be used to tie her up or gag her. If she isn't wearing a scarf, it could be hanging on a hat rack in a hallway, in a dresser in her bedroom or in a closet. There is always a logical reason for a scarf to be handy.
Although not as personal as a lady's panties or even perhaps pantyhose, scarves are still a personal item, often worn next to a woman's skin and carrying her scent. It was something personal that was bought for fashion that is suddenly one of her possessions (that she probably paid for) being used forcibly to keep her restrained or quiet against her will. I find that very erotic. I find it even more erotic that a woman would use her own scarf to bind or gag another woman. Not surprisingly, ladies scarves tend to be very feminine, which does incorporate the softness and the colors, but also feminine patterns (flowers, scenes or geometric patterns that women find pretty) that a guy would never wear. Being bound and/or gagged with those scarves, forcing her to wear these very feminine fashion accessories in a manner that is not feminine, but can still look very feminine. I find that erotic.
When some bondage authors write stories often they try to satisfy everyone (much like some bondage companies). They use tape of various types, cloth gags and of course, often a scarf is thrown in, all in the same story...apparently they have never heard of a MO...someone tying people up is going to do it mostly one way only. Back to the point. "She was gagged with a scarf"...means nothing to someone interested in scarf bondage. Perhaps saying 'she was gagged with duct tape" is all the tape folks need. Those interested in scarf bondage want details including the design, type of material, etc.

I don't like it when bondage materials simply materialize, like they so often do on TV. Scarves have a reason to be in a scene as a fashion accessory so they should be used as a plot device. I once saw a show (Six Million Dollar Man) which had a woman wearing a bandanna headscarf. Did they gag her with that bandanna? No, they gagged her with another bandanna! I admit it was neat seeing her wear one bandanna and gagged with another, but wouldn't a crook just grab the one off of her head? It just wasn't logical.
While scarves are my favorite type of bondage, particularly for gags. I also love rope, pantyhose and various types of cloth gags.

Lessons Learned from My AI Experiment
In my latest Midsummer Robberies post I did an experiment by including some AI generated images - two by DreamUP and one generated by @MadokaKawabata using a different AI generator. My purpose was to add some color and context to the prose. It is NOT my intention to use AI as a substitute for using an artist's work for my primary illustrations. [As you will see AI can not generate specific detailed illustrations like my friend, @mileshendon can or other artists.} The idea was to get content I would not ever ask Miles or another artist to provide - a phone booth, for instance. Problems with AI AI can't spell! It took many iterations to get one word (telephone) to be spelled correctly. DreamUp would add letters (teleepphone) and sometimes it looked like a foreign language. Even quotes don't work. I tried an image of Mary's Dress Shop and was amazed at how many different ways that was misspelled. I have seen 1st grades spell better (and they are really bad.) Women PIs are a rarity at that time and as such they not only fight cheating husbands, criminals, but also a male dominated world. Their clients are exclusively women. The rationale for the time period chosen is given in the Lady Spies – A Chronology Like spy shows of that period, PI shows, such as 77 Sunset Strip, were male dominated. The women were either worked for or with the main characters or were guest stars. The one except was Honey West, who was the lead in a show by by the same name Unlike the women in those TV shows, Angela Morris, Wendy Lawson, and the other women in these stories are risking more than their lives as the villains, both men and women are also interested in them as women, to be conquered and ravished. Some of the villains are murders and Angela and Wendy must kill themselves at times to save their lives.

!KP-Presents (https://www.deviantart.com/kp-presents) had a great idea - open question time on his page. I thought I would do the same. You may ask any question of me that deals with my writing or stories. You may also ask questions of any of my characters concerning them or their actions in their stories. Questions addressed to a specific character will be answered by that character (not me). Do be careful - some of the characters are sensitive, particularly the villains, to criticism of their actions. They are villains, after all.

Why not use them as a breathplay tool. Not as in strangulation but over a well taped mouth and nose to restrict the level of breath and thus arouse the subject. Add to this, your favorite erotic scent and you have a powerful combinaction that leads to an amazing orgasm .
